This is an AC I was working on back in 1904, but Gran Colombia was kinda busy facing off with various countries to get around to building them.  They were to have been an evolution of the Campeon class, with the same main battery.

Very similar in armament to a cruiser I was considering before the definition of 'armored cruiser' ran off and left ships like this behind. Mine was quite a bit lighter, more lightly armored and armed, though.

She's a fine ship... too bad that evolution left her behind.

Well the Armored Cruisers made it a little longer than there real world counterparts in design style.  Rohan is still considering making another Combat Cruiser to keep the later models in pairs that can operate together.  It is also possible that if Rohan does this the a newer Combat Cruiser would be faster than their Battle Crusiers.  The 9" guns will remain the Combat Cruiser weapon for now, rather than spec up to 12" guns twins.  Maybe tech for a triple mount for the 9"....naw....too much fragile firepower verses Battlecruisers, and overkill (in the extreme) for other cruisers...plus way to large for her weapons power. (likely 20,000 tons with triples).

Ahoj!
I am still pondering a ship like that. Two or three such ships for missions where battlecruisers are too much, and my small cruisers are too small.

But I'd got with 8 guns, for the firefigths with enemy PDNs.

Your super Cruiser is a hard challenge for a Pre-Dreadnought.

Very nice for a 1904 cruiser, and better ships then my own 1904 cruisers. BUt this types of ships a imo obsolete now, but might have a function as cruiser-killers with loads (10-15+) of 24cm guns...
