Desertfox

A pretty normal patrolboat with a very unusual cargo.

Note: She does not have 10" torpedoes, they are just there to account for deckspace.

Overall survivability and seakeeping ability:
Survivability (Non-critical penetrating hits needed to sink ship):
     219 lbs / 99 Kg = 57.4 x 2.0 " / 50 mm shells or 0.3 torpedoes
Stability (Unstable if below 1.00): 1.21
   Metacentric height 0.5 ft / 0.2 m
   Roll period: 10.2 seconds
   Steadiness   - As gun platform (Average = 50 %): 50 %
         - Recoil effect (Restricted arc if above 1.00): 0.06
   Seaboat quality  (Average = 1.00): 1.78

Hull form characteristics:
   Hull has a flush deck
   Block coefficient: 0.430
   Length to Beam Ratio: 7.06 : 1
'Natural speed' for length: 10.95 kts
Power going to wave formation at top speed: 57 %
   Trim (Max stability = 0, Max steadiness = 100): 28
Bow angle (Positive = bow angles forward): 20.00 degrees
   Stern overhang: 0.00 ft / 0.00 m

It's kind of difficult to comment without knowing more about the payload.  A gigantic air horn for sounding alarms?

Desertfox

No speculation?

Its five, 10" diameter, 9 meter long tubes...

I did speculate.  If you're proposing some wacky scientific invention, you'd be well-advised to run it past the Mods before you go too far with it.

Desertfox

But, yours is the only one, pretty close too.

This ship is only for fun. While the physics for the concept work, it would be very hard to implement succesfully in practice, even today.

Building small torpedoes is not an invention.
It is the use of existing technology to produce a smaller version.

It's not torpedoes he's shooting out of that, or there wouldn't need be a "special room" or "structural reinforcement", more likely some kind of early rocket.

It better not be - New Zion's nowhere near that far along in the Baking Tech Tree
