The ships are fins with the rules. As the guns are over 17cm (or were the cutoff is) they fall under battleship technology rather then light cruiser tech.

They seem a little light and thin to do their job.  (a block co. of 0.484?), and very thin armor.  Against other protected cruisers they might do fine given there caliber of their guns, plus range advantage, but against any armored cruiser, she is pretty underprotected.  She also may not have enough firepower verse torpedo boats and destroyers (in terms of lighter weapons and quick fires).  However she is relatively cheap, so in a larger navy, I could see these in squadrons to cover small divisions of battleships.

That's exactly their job

Because the smal capacity of building for Peru, I made "classic" protected cruiser with armored cruiser turrets for main armament (2T2x9").

A kind of "Pocket Armored Cruiser" ... :D :D :D

By squadron I mean eight ships and by division of Battleships I mean two ship   (in this case).

With the triple turrets techno & in a 120m drydock,
this Protected Cruiser is certainly interresting in a small BS to protect 20kts BB.

The Rock Doctor

The beam seems somewhat narrow for a triple 9" turret to fit in.

Although I'm not sure I'd bother with torpedoes if the role is battleline escort, the design is otherwise not too bad.

Borys

Ahoj!
Torpedos can always come in handy - coup the grace, disrupting an enemy attack - a girl never knows when she'll need one.
Although she looks a tad overgunned to me.

Beam narrow...

Same proportions as Panzerschiff class
- 20.7m for T3x280
- 17m for T3x230
So, I can increase lightly the beam  :D

Torpedo tubes are going to be "submerged"-

This ship is not realy a cruiser but a kind of light Battleship (Ushakov).
Her job in the BS is :
Protect the BB from Cruiser & Destroyers
Engage enemy cruisers & repulse enemy attack destroyers .

That's not bad - but I don't think you need both 12 x 120 mm and 12 x 90 mm.  You could probably get by with just one of those, and use the weight savings of the other to nudge the miscellaneous weight (for eventual FC installation) up some.

"...12 x 120 mm and 12 x 90 mm..."

These guns are made to engage DDs & eventualy light cruisers

What is better in 1913 to repulse DDs attack (protect the BB)
BL 120mm or QF 90mm ?
