I like the armor deck myself...  Problem is its such a stability hog on the design, 16 points of stability is a big hit....

I will try to change the latest design to one that keeps the armored deck and see what it gets me...

Reminds me of the 25-27kts 2500t cruisers with 5x6" Desertfox had to lead destroyer squadrons. They were very vulnerable without any protective deck, any hit could have catastrophic consequences. Not many of those ships survived.

If you want the ship for patrols, do you need 2" shields? Thin it down to splinter protection (0.5-1"), that would save you a few tons.

No, just the was springsharp works, seakeeping is for maximum speed, so lowering speed increase the indicated seakeeping.

Sachmle, I don't see room to move any of the guns.  I would like another triple TT mount but I don't think I can fit it.
