One of the most important tasks that General and then Prime Minister Kassar undertook during the 3 years prior to his health failing was the beginning of the galvanization of the various member nation militaries into a unified whole, into the Confederation Defense Force (Bundeswehr).  With the nearly unrestricted access to the foundries of both Bofors, Krupp, and Mauser Werke allowed a great deal of head aches amoungst the member nations to go away when working in cooperation.

The adoption of the Mauser Gewehr 98 as the standard issue rifle came after a short fight but with newer plants being opened in Norway and Sweden in the coming years, parts and munitions will hopefully become more plentiful.  In addition, the choice was made to make the formal adoption of the DWM P08 9mm semi-automatic pistol, recently developed, to replace the variety of other pistols in service, a further attempt to standardize the supplies of Budeswehr units that might be deployed outside their home provinces.

(will add more as I get time to finish research into period artillary...  busy time)
Hopelessly trapped behind mountains of outdated miniature games.
