[Eugenius]

Ukraine decided in 1906 that a new pair of all big-gun battleships would be laid down in 1907 for completion dates in late 1909.  They sent out requests for designs throughout the known world, with the following limitations:

Maximum size of 19,000t light tonnage

Maximum length of 168m

Main armament of nine 305mm guns in three triple turrets
-Superfiring has already been researched
-The gun is the 305 mm/52 (12") Pattern 1907
-Superfiring turrets are preferred A XY rather than AB Y.

"Significant" secondary battery
-Emphasis on number of guns rather than size of guns.

"Good" speed
-21kts required, 22kts or more (!) receives serious preferential treatment
-Engine year 1909, 12000HP/shaft possible

Range "not of greatest importance"
-Ships intended to serve only in the Black Sea

[Korpen]

A Design from KM Den Schelde
She is loosely based on the dimensions of the Dutch Jacob van Hemschreck-class battleship.
Her protection is first rate, with a deep 32cm thick belt, 6cm deck armour and more then adequate upper and ends armour.
The 88;s are mounted four in the stem (as on Jacob van) and two are mounted in the forecastle. The 12cm casemates are all on the same level, again in the fashion of Jacob van Hemschreck, and the deck mounts are fitted to the raised boat deck.
The 12cm gun have a similar performance as the IRL Russian 120 mm/50 Pattern 1905 gun, combining a useful weight of shell with a good rate of fire.

The Ukrainian Navy has selected the recently-updated design Ukrainian-LBB-1906.  The only minor alteration we would like to see is the substitution of 120mm/50 guns in place of the 127mm guns, as they don't want to research a caliber that doesn't fit well with what the other ships in the fleet are using.

The two ships, which will have been begun in H1 and H2 of 1907 and completed in H2 1909 are named Vsievolod and Volodymir, and will be working up in the beginning of 1910.

The drawing is appreciated, but some minor aesthetic changes would also be appreciated:

-Three slightly taller, narrower funnels, all of the same height
-If possible, a cage mast would be appreciated, nothing too high or too detailed
-Straight stem

The Ukrainian Navy has selected the recently-updated design Ukrainian-LBB-1906. 

Just small question, should not all ships use the 205/L52 gun with 470kg shells?
Using the default shell weight saves quite a bit of weight.
However I am certain the LBB-1906 could be modified to carry them.

Rohan does, though I purposely overbuilt the design so it can be modified to fit the needs outside the give specifications (including removal of the 9 inch battery in favor of more 6 inch, coal fired boilers, and more range)  The 9 inch was to give some added heavy firepower to the large number of 6 inch guns, and to come down from the twelve 9 inch guns on the original design.
