Let us start...modestly.

The river gunboat Gorrion is designed as a support vessel for troops fighting close ashore.  A squat, boxy vessel, she carries two 120 mm mortars amidships, the forward unit offset to port, the aft unit offset to starboard.  Both mortars are surrounded by a ring of armor plate.

The usual 47mm QF and machine guns round out the battery, and can either work over targets ashore or small craft on the river.  The boat is armored against typical light artillery fire.

Two units are planned for 1910, being built in sequence at Manaus.

Four dispatch boats - as posted at: http://www.navalism.org/index.php?topic=1852.0 - are envisaged for 1910 construction.  No need to double-post them.

The Grenada class protected cruisers are an enlarged version of the Westmoreland class ships.  The class features 50/50 oil-sprayed coal-firing and oil-burning boilers, with sufficient range to operate with the battlecruiser Luchador once completed.

The increased size of the ship happens to allow for an additional 140mm gun forward, and two 65mm anti-airship guns are installed aft.

Two units are planned for 1910.
