The most radical refit/rebuild conducted so far. All the armament from this Konigin Regentes battleship is removed (and scraped), most of the interior is ripped out and about 20cm of reinforced concrete to poured on the deck the strengthen it. The conning tower is also getting reinforced with large amounts of armed concrete. The internal subdivisions is increased, and more pumps added. The ship is lacking all long term accommodations for the crew, and all crew positions are below the armoured deck and behind the belts.

Probably a good idea and design.  Where would you base her?  I'd assume the NEI, as home waters would be a little crowded for live-fire shoots.

Initially Scapa is likely to be the place. The waters around north scotland is not so crowded as the Dutch coast.

Depends on when you are talking about.  If you mean for December 7, 1941 (aside from the rest of the fleet being used for bombing and torpedo practise by the Japanese Navy) than you probably mean U.S.S. Utah...which is still there on the north side of Ford Island much like U.S.S. Arizona is on the south side.

Well, as turbines are supposed to be paid for speratly for merchant ships, her cost woul be:

Korpen

A small tanker designed for operations with the costal defence forces (read: the KTB-2 TBs).

Her mission profile is quite simple, she carries enough fuel, ammo and torpedoes to allow for a four ship group to conducts three all–fuel using patrols, of which two would expend all 88mm gun ammo and torpedoes. She then have enough fuel to get them and herself back to base, which can be up to 2500nm distant. Her shallow draft will allow her to get up many of lochs in the west of the Celtic parts of the kingdom as well as the myriad of rivers in the NOI.
In both cases it is envisioned that the TB crews get quartered ashore in some suitable village.

She is in effect a mobile supply chase, allowing the costal forces to reinforce the defence of costal areas far from the large bases.

You could probably raise the freeboard some and increase hull strength in the process, by the looks of it.

The gun might be better located aft - as she's more likely to flee than pursue.

Generally, I like her, though I'd have considered including crew quarters for improved operational mobility.
