The rest of the moderators convinced me that we need an increase of BP. This would put a bit squeeze on the $ spending.

Increase is around 50% all over the board, some get a bit more. For France it got doubled.

What effect does this have on those nations with more than 1/6 their IC in BP?

P3D

Rules changes accordingly with an 1/4 limit on BP in place of the 1/6 one. DKB is over the limit for different reasons, but they are AFAIK the sole exception.  And then, they won't be able to expand their BP capacity for some time.

Doesn't 33+1+3+1+1=39?

Gran Colombia's going to be over that threshold, too, so I've got a few IC to build.

Ithekro

Some numbers don't multiply up correctly.  Rohan had 17 BP so that would be 25.5 BP  Gran Columbia had 13, 3, and 0.5, so that would be 25 total (not 30) and thus within Columbia's means in terms of ICs.

Iberia's numbers didn't add up correctly.

Iberian Empire   12

Iberia  7.5
Brazil    3
Philippines    0.5

= 11

So as long as there is no issue, I will have the extra 1 BP in Europe making for a total of 8.5 there.

Also unlike some I am going to be under BP cap of 1 to 4, so I will be buying another 2 BP ASAP after I finish the 6th IC in the Philippines pushing my total IC up to 54.5.

P3D

Er, the Gran Columbian BP was miscalculated.  :-[
I took there was 16.5BP in Columbia proper but that is the total.

So GC have the same 50% increase as everyone:

Gran Columbia 25
Columbia   20
Caribbean 4.5
Amazonas 0.5

Sorry, Rocky, but at least you are below the IC limit :P

In general, BP growth is 50%, if much larger, I made a mistake.

Since it is dependant on the BP figure, will the reseach budget also be altered or will that remain the same?

Carthaginian

P3D, the CSA has been working on a new BP under the old rules for the last 2 years. Could I get the .5 BP I would have earned under the new rules added into the mix, or is that effort (which is a rather monumental part of my budget) just lost?
