Hi Borys,

Your past comments and maps were a great foundation for me to work from. The biggest difficulty was finding maps of German states that showed cities, rivers or topographic features, far to many on the web are political or stylized tourist-style maps. Still, Google came through :)

I didn't realize the French held so much, I had interpreted the border bulge as the Saar and Luxembourg. I can remedy that.

Hmm, well I tried to include Palfz, just hard at this scale. I seem to have drawn turn west to far north of Karlsruhe, was trying to avoid the Saar.

The Saar looks to be French, and the dividing line between the Palantine and Rheinland appears to be along the Nahe River, which makes a nice line from Mainz to Saarbrucken.

So I've tried to fix that, and advanced the French border to the Rhine.

Bonn may be a problem, while searching for info, I've noted the Baltic referring to as a fortress on the Bavarian-French-Baltic Border, yet here it is a bit north of that and in France.

How does this look?

Too large france!
I got the impression that the french bulge basically was the modern province of rhineland.
EDIT: Excluding the portion on the east side of the rhine.

I myself am not sure about how deep the "French Tongue" goes - whether it it is flattened out against the Rhine, or gently slurps at it with its tip, with the area between the Maas and Rhine being BC.
I vaguely remember the shape of the tongue being discussed with Khymerion ...

With the French piece being:

That makes more sense when looking at the map previous maps, as none of them indicate that France is in effect enveloping the Netherlands, that would be the effect of extending the French border along the Rhine to the Dutch border.

Looking at my map from several posts up, it seems that both Hessens and Nassau are part of BC.
I also believe they are not included in the Bavarian population and economic total, but submerged into BC data.
Rocky - if you could do a search of the Moderator's Forum, for the word Saxony or Sachsen - that should produce the thread where I designed Bavaria.
