The Reich is not wholly dissatisifed with the Gran Colombian proposal...

(I'm still pretty much Writer's Blockaded and time-limited at the moment; the Bory-d One will be speaking for Both of the "H" Named Germanic Empires when I am not around.  ;) )

Italy - The count is almost 70 - and well traveled. He's seen it all!
Gra Colombia - whether Torres was "yesterday's", or "today's" is not of much import :)
Przewalski found von Belov to suffer from gout, thus bed ridden. One Count gave the other a sceptre marking him as the "Mouth of Brandenburg"

Considering the state of the Allied Representatives, now might be a good time to pass a Swiss Friendly Treaty! Say all the DEI and all of DKB Polynesia to NS, plus turning Japan into a simple State of NS, etc... ;D

The Confederate delegation- the elder Mr. Mosby excluded- hopes that Senior Torres brought plenty of his country's excellent coffee... Lieutenant Patton especially.

One junior secretary from the Orange delegation notes that his father was indeed right. Clean fruit distillates are much more friendly the next day than malt or bourbon that soaked who-knows-what chemicals from oak barrels.

A Confederate 2nd Sergeant in Mr. Mosby's escort asks how fruit distillates can be considered 'clean' with all those dregs in them. He further notes that pure corn whiskey suffers from neither problem, and indicates that he is in possession of a fair amount if the Orange delegation would care to sample it later. ;)

Early the next afternoon, Eduard Torres asks, in a quiet and careful manner suggesting that the sound of his own voice is painful to him, "Dare I ask if the Alliance has come to a decision with regard to the proposal I tabled earlier in the week?"

The Alliance confers in a closed room. Raised voices, muffled by the heavy doors, can be heard from inside.

"Gentlemen - and Lady", Minister Torres says with a sigh, "I fear we are approaching an impasses.  The key problems now seem to be the disposition of New Guinea and Saipan, and the Allies' view that they are owed a pound of flesh, as it were, from the Swiss.  Let me introduce a different lense with which to examine territorial disposition.

"7.   Saipan and other North Marianas islands under dispute, shall be transferred, with Madrid's consent, to neutral Iberia, which owns the remainder of the North Marianas.

Apart from point 7 the suggestion is by and large acceptable.
However, considering Iberians aggressive posture against the Netherlands and unflinching support for the Swiss, the conduct, we see no difference in practical terms between the island in Iberian or Swiss hand (here or in other places), in fact remaining in Swiss hand is preferable if those two there the choices. Luckily, that is not the case, and we suggest they is should be handed to a nation that has been neutral, unlike Iberia. Our suggestion would be the UNK or the Baltic confederation, but also France would be an option.
