Well in response to the Austrian offer the Netherlands will offer the Swiss the following:
1: Immediate armistice, effective until H2/1909.
2: Evangel of all prisoners of war
3: Handover of all Dutch territories in Asia to the Republic of New Switzerland on the 1st of July 1909 in return for $200, paid in instalments of $10 every half year.
This in a non-negotiable offer.

This is due to Dutch beancouters coming to the conclusion that the defence will cost more then it is worth in an environment of backstabbing Austrians, mad Swiss and hostile Iberian

As a comparison, Orange is Buying Zambia and Malawi (3 million, 3-4IC) for $275.
The realistic Price for Indonesia should be in the high thousands.

I think its called Korpen / Netherlands is bailing on the area.  He sent me a message right after the start of the war to the effect that if it became impossible to hold it he would do something like this so its not totally out of the blue.

It should be far from un-expected, as you were not the only one told that, and it was a major reason for austrian and DKB entry into the war.
I was less clear that it would be the effect if they droped out. But to be honest we will see what the japanese or DKB reaction is, it is not fully set in stone yet.

The Chair banged the gavel to get some silence.  "Gentlemen this is quite unreasonable, nor appropreate for this conference.  I would ask the Representative from the Neatherlands of he believes he is behaving rationally because he appears to not be at the present time. I would also remind him of recent history. History of the Triple Alliance between Brandenburg, New Switzerland, and the Neatherlands against the Republic of France.  I would remind him that it was the threat of invasion of his own homelands by France which fractured that alliance and left the Swiss to fend for themselves in the Pacific.  This war and the actions leading up to it have been between counties that were close friends no more than a decade ago.  Can your sovereign truely believe that this war is nessecary between friends?  Is the canal at Kra that important, that you would continue this war or even expand this unnessecary war by your actions?  While the Swiss are the originators of this conflict, it is the Neatherlands that is the catalyst.  What is this war worth?"

The Swiss delegation is at the moment too shocked to speak. But if everything goes thru, NS will have to invite a number of neutral countries to form an anti-piracy fleet in the DEI, untill NS can rebuild its cruiser forces.
