Few things I spot (not sure if that's all of them)...
- You added all territories together. This has an influence on your revenue compared to listing them apart. Put them all apart in the table (which I think is the intention) will give you 80.04
- You forgot to put the research cost into the table. (Research:   0      Maximum:   $4)
- Your maximum military budget (unless when you are at war and I don't think that Italy is at war at the moment) is half you revenue which will give you $40.02. You're spending more than $70 on it. You might want to give some units the 'Active' rating (rather than 'Mobilized') or put a few more in reserve or lay down a ship less (especially that BB eats up $$$).
- Your BP is 7. Maximum research is $4. At this moment I cannot see if you are researching it on your own (= $1 per tech per HY) or if you are incorporating foreign technology ($0.25 per tech per HY)
- Shouldn't the 34th Legion be designated XXXIV?

Hope that helps a bit to fine-tune your report.

Ahoj!
1 - as noted, do not aggregate the various territories
2 - as noted, you are limited to 36$ military peacetime spending
3 - Fleet is NOT written Fleat
4 - Luanda is NOT an Italian possession
5 - the merchant fleet was dropped
6 - 34 Mobilised Italian Corps would cause a couple of heart attacks in Munich and probably Vienna too :)

Frankly, I suggest NOT using the spreadsheet, but good ol' Notepad and calculator.

Quoteas noted, you are limited to 36$ military peacetime spending
Seems to me that you subtracted the research cost from that total, Borys... Shouldn't you do that after establishing the maximum peacetime military budget?
QuoteFleet is NOT written Fleat
I ususally just read over a minor spelling error like that.
... Doesn't even bother me! :)
Quote34 Mobilised Italian Corps would cause a couple of heart attacks in Munich and probably Vienna too
Don't worry. Only 7 Italian Corps are mobilized, Borys. rest is either active or reserve. :)
QuoteFrankly, I usggest NOT using the spreadsheet, but good ol' Notepad and calculator.
I use the spreadsheet, notepad and 2 calculators (Windows one and a Casio with a conversion table in it). I altered the spreadsheet a lot. I altered it in order to fit all my areas in there. All my research is there as well as the cost per tech per HY. Also miscellaneous projects are given there with their costs. There is an average IC growth per region table in there for every 1 IC that I gain. The same for the population (though that one is real speculation). I have an exact table of my techs there as well as a rough plan as to how to continue the research (which is also a lot of speculation). Don't think P3D would appreciate it how much I butchered his spreadsheet in order to make it the way I want it to be. :D

Yes, me bad. 42 not 36 military budget. I got fixated on the number 72 somehow ...

Only 7 mobilised? Breathes deeeply, stops racing heart ...

Army maintanance 29$ is still quite a lot. I think in line with what I spend :)

QuoteOnly 7 mobilised? Breathes deeeply, stops racing heart ...
Yes. Only the first seven legions are mobilized. Legions 8-21 (except 12 and 15) are active. Legions 12, 15 and 22-34 are reserve.
QuoteArmy maintanance 29$ is still quite a lot. I think in line with what I spend
How many units do you have and how much do you spend on it? 33 units and $29.7 if I read it correct. Italy has 34 units and $29 so its indeed in line with what you spend. On average, Habsburg spends a little bit more on its units than Italy. Habsburg spends $0.9 per unit an Italy spends $0.85 per unit. For comparison with the other nations involved in the war (if I calculated ti correctly)...
Japan: $1.03 per unit.
DKB: $1.84 per unit.
Netherlands: $1.22 per unit.
Middle Kingdom: $1.66 per unit.
New Switzerland: $0.43 per unit (which to me seems impossibly low for a nation at war...).

Ahoj!
16 of my corps are reserve. 8 are Pro. I didn't expect others to spend that much on the Army.

Middle Kingdom - quite a few are Profesional, like mine, so that drives up costs. Also, the MK pays through the nose for its railguns.

The Swiss did not mobilise the units on Home Islands ...

Even so it's way too low, but I noticed that I made an error... or should I say, Desertfox forgot (*) to add something to his report (which is something that is mentioned in the Swiss OOB):
1 Division = 1/2 Corps
http://www.navalism.org/index.php?topic=756.0
So that would give a cost of $0.88 per corps-sized unit.

(*) or deliberate forgot to confuse the enemy.

BTW, I also spotted that the XXXIC was an error in the Spreadsheet. Since I do not go all the way to 34, I originally didn't noticed that.

QuoteAlso, the MK pays through the nose for its railguns.
Railgun costs are not included in MK's $1.66 per unit

... another thing... No need for the Torpedo tech as Italy already has the advanced tech. Next level can only be started in 1908.

Tanthalas

Thanks guy the XXXIC, well blame that on exhaustion it was 3am my time when I finally got to putting in the legions.  And I posted it so people could tell me what I was doing wrong.  Im not exactly sure im going to lay the BB down in 1906... However I wanted to see if I could, I thought I was to high on my military spending but I wasn't sure, would moving some of the active legions to reserve status help with my army budget, or should I cut down on the total number of legions?  What I had envisioned is enough troops to garrison everywhere with at least an active presence.  What you didn't notice (proly cause I forgot to post where each fleet is based) is that 2nd and 3rd fleet most likely wouldn't fit at their home ports lol, but I had an answer for that worked out already just hadn't actually done it yet.

Tanthalas

Also another question will putting part of my fleet in reserve help enough to matter on my military spending or should I just scrap the oldest short range TBs?  How much tonnage can I scrap in a year? Maybe I should just make all my tb 1905 models lol and cut back on the number of them?

Maybe a slightly smaller army?
You have a smaller economy than the Habsburgs, yet a larger fleet. So something has to give.
There is no real need for Wartime units, Active are practically just as good.
I waste my $ on Wartime units for three reasons - laziness - no need to mobilise; RPG  - Service Grants Citizenship; combat boost.

Yes, placing ships in Reserve brings down upkeep cost.
QuoteReserve: The ship is staying in a protected anchorage, its equipment is conserved, with a minimal maintenance to preserve its state. is 0.5% its construction cost per half year

a ship can be scrapped at any port at 4 times the build rate, this costs no industrial capacity to do

Selling will give you more $, but you miss out on the BP.

Plus any relevant in game side effects :)

I agree with Borys. Japan's military budget is slightly bigger than Italy's, but Japan has only 19 Corps-sized units compared to Italy's 34. Those units are f**king expensive!!!
So smaller, army, change the mobilized units to active. Perhaps forget about the BB for this H1/1906. Originally I wanted to lay down Aki as historical, but in the end did not do that as it costs too much money to lay down right at that point.

Yes. It might have a negative effect on Italy's relationships with certain nations when you sell ships to the Evil Swiss. ;D

Its not like China and Japan can do anything to Italy, and Germany, Austria, and the Neatherlands are too weak to do anything. In other words prime targets for the Roman Legions... Is that the Imperial March I hear?

It would also have the nice side effect of giving you a larger economy...
