I have no use of my BP at the moment, could they be transfered to the next report?

Any coments about my first try would be very welcome.

We are supposed to be able to transfer BP between halves without problem, but you'll loose a lot of them if you hold them to the end of the year. I'd say start building some small craft like torpedo boats or destroyers... or maybe one of those cruisers you want to know why Bavaria hasn't built. :)

I'd say build a squadron of 7 destroyers of 500 tons a piece this half, just to use up some of the BP's.

The issue about BP carry-over is a bit fuzzy, as the general line is that they cannot be carried over, but so far we have allowed some to be shifted. So a few BPs could be stored, but not all, this to prevent hoarding.

You could use the BP is improve your fortresses and other defenses.  Perhaps coastal batteries to prevent invasion by sea.

Bazhell

Could i invest the surplus BP in some merchant ships or in doubling the Transalpine RR?

Carthaginian

Most definitely.
Merchant tonnage and RR networks are good places to sink excess BP.

Building ships for export is also a nice way to burn BPs, and most likely the most profitable way to use them.

That will be my first doing if i reached a modern research lvl :(

For starters i decided to build 5 merchants of 5kt and 1 of 4kt for a total of 29kt.

There is a War going on, even ships only good for scrap are fetching 50% of their new value.
And more up-to-date tech could be part of the payment...

France is willing to order lighter combat vessels. To stroke out the pains of the past.

PM me for further "negotiations".

Ahoj!
As you are entering the fray in mid HY, I'd let you carry over the 1st HY BP for the second HY. You'll make a killing on ship orders.

Considering you had some 28BP from 1906 and 1907, and built 10BP worth of ships, plus 3BP for harbour improvements, the Polken Pass RR is double tracked.
Even if you put 9BP into those two Medium Advanced fortresses, you are left with 6BP, which buys you 240km.

Wartime Army upkeep - 20x4 + 3x5 = 80+15 = 95$
Are you sure you want this?

You seem to have missunderstood something about Fortifications, or we did not lay it out clearly.

Small Fortress = 1 corps
Medium Fortress = 2 corps
Large Fortress = 3 corps

with corresponding upkeep costs. So, two Advanced Medium Forstresses is 20$ wartime upkeep, and one Large Primitive costs 9$.

Since Bavaria has so many leftover BP, the CSA might be interested in ordering some ships in the 2nd half of 1908 for delivery in the second half of 1909. Please PM me for details.

Borys

Thank you for the BP deal, Merchants are cancelled immediately.

I guess i have a problem with war coasts of my Army, especially with my fortresses...

Using the Excel File from P3D war coast for an advanced Korps climbed up from 1,3 to 2,5 $ and for baseline from 1,0 to 2,0 $. That would be affordable to me.

I will reduce the size of the fortresses, because i overlooked the fact that i need 2 or 3 Korps for medium and large fortresses.

Thanks

Ahoj!
Damn, I messed up the upkeep calculations, counting 5$ for Advanced and 4$ for baseline.

So it would be 47,5$, not 95$. Sorry for the confusion.

Similarly for the Fortresses - two Small Advanced and one Small Primitive would cost 5,5$.
53$ overall. So your army plans are in fact affordable. Appologies once again.

I myself cannot mobilise all my army due to lack of cash, as I carried over my 32 corps from the previous incarnation of the game. I'm waiting for the economy to catch up with me :)

ADDED LATER:
Seeing that I've been doing my sums wrong, maybe I CAN afford to mobilse my hordes ...
