The funnel stripes, or the whole thing?

Second class is the Puerta Espana class belted cruiser.  This is not necessarily the best thought-out design Gran Colombia's put out.  Speed, armor, and range are all "okay" but the design as a whole is not really optimized either for trade protection or anti-destroyer ops.  It'll be a learning experience.

...and a river monitor for service in the Amazon.  She's got one big gun for shore bombardment work, a bit of armor, and some light guns to deal with war canoes and gunboats.  With a March '05 lay-down, she'd be completed just as the sim starts.   She'll also fit in the Type 0 drydock that will be built at Manaus sooner or later...

Ahoj!
Posting from web-cafe :)
The Invencible, going by the drawing, is wrong. The 6 inchers should be marked as "below main deck", while the 4 inchers are on the main deck, they are not "raised".

Yes...you're right.  Well, that's one more ship designer off to spend quality time at the Pimichin Canal.

I'll edit later - don't imagine it'll change the rest of the design much.

Desertfox

I like em, but I would call the Invencibles BBs not BCs, as they have more armor and less speed than my own United States.

The Rock Doctor

I agree...which is why I've consistently referred to them as battleships.

Desertfox

How in the world did I read battlecruisers??? Must have been spring break!
