The Reichsicherheitsdienst is the domestic intelligence and investigative service of the Deutsches Kaiserreich Brandenburg. Unlike the Abwehr, which focuses on external threats, the RSD combats the enemies within. There is some overlap in responsibilities, however it is the order of the Kaiser himself that the two agencies must co-operate instead of combat each other. Nevertheless each agency gets no respect from the other when not on a case.
