Here also only 5000 PS, and i want two 8,8 cm at the boats :) You constructed 5 at Triest and 5 at Monfalcone? What do you think will the harbour infrastructure look?

You are wellcome to switch the guns. Won't make much difference on the design.

This is not covered by the game, but the STT (Stablimento Tecnico Triestino) is one of the most modern, efficient yards in the world.

Monfalcone can build quite good cruisers.


I'd say that all TBs were built at Triest. Maybe one or two at Monfalcone. Using drydocks for construction, the STT can build half a dozen in parallel. And building 10 of such small ships in 18 months is a piece of cake for them. In OTL they built, in parallel, two 25,000 battleships in just over
2 years. Under Mussolini they built a Littorio class ship in 3 and a half years ...

Strange things start to happen with springsharp when the block coefficient gets below 0,38, so you should try and raise it, considering that you got a bit of excess hull strength, just reducing her draft a few cm should do the trick..
Other then that she is not bad ship at all, she is cheap, her speed is nice, and her sea keeping acceptable.
But if I were to suggest some modification to her, it would be to raise her forecastle, you got a bit of extra strength in the design, and a higher forecastle would improve her sea keeping as well as the accommodations for the crew.

You can cut back on range. This ship isn't going anywhere furtherthan the Strait of Otranto.

You might want to consider higher cruise speeds if you are restricted to the Adriatic - even like 20 knots.

I hate to be a stick in the mud, but the cross-sectional strength should be at least 0.50.  If you were to reduce the block co-efficient to about .42 or .43, and increase the draft to ~3.2 m, you'd probably have the same displacement, need less machinery for the speed, and a stronger hull.

Bazhell - there's always a learning curve.  My first designs in springstyle were absolute disasters, and I've made quite a few mediocre ones since then.
