The current map shows a the big sea so since I was working on this new map it came up as I was asking about geography.

Borys requested the physical connection which I agree makes sense as otherwise with the current climate I don't see the sea being as large as it is.  Once you do that and consider elevation levels the sea gets even bigger as you flood huge areas that are below sea level in the Caspian Depression.  As Guinness points out though the mods have final say though.  So don't worry about the caucasus.

Your point on bombing persia is my own issue with this sea if Russia is the only power on it and especially the only active power on it then whats the point to it.  Thats an issue for the mods to deal with.

I will work on the Ukraines borders.  Thanks for the info.

How? - increasing the riverflow of the Ural river tenfold :)

Wow... I haven't looked at the 'old map' in quite awhile. I had completely missed that the Caspian was increased in size. That will show me for sticking to my atlas!  ;D

Well... that will make the Don-Volga Canal a moot point!  ;)

The old map doesn't show this new physical connection and it doesn't show this new sea as large as I have drawn it.  Yes I agree that there would be no Don-Volga canal ;)

I've been working off maps that show a much smaller Caspian as well.

Had some problems with getting the map and displaying it. The Gifs...pisca didn't like.
However the 8.8mg .jpg works ok.

Looks like its from a game I have. Pretty, colors show up much better. Interesting showing the various districts. Bavaria would appear to need work on most borders. The two tongues of AH territory should be truncated,  the Saxon bulge is roughly one limit, the Tyrol bulge the other. We own part of Milano, and less of Venetia. The way Maddox drew it, we own a little bit more of the French alps as well.  I had a heck of a time getting Bavaria's borders pinned down when I tried to find them for my mapping effort.

Did they sound the death march, as they lowered you down,
Did the band play the last post and chorus,
Did the pipes play the flowers of the forest

I did drew a map???  Man, I have problems getting a straight line with Paint.

What I did was pointing out that Glorious France doesn't retain a lot of Swisse, but tried to hold as much border along the Rhine as possible.

Kaiser Kirk

you took one of my draft maps, cropped out a section showing the Swiss-French Border, and drew in a line :)
So I copied it as best possible.
Thats all

There is another map of just Bavaria in the Bavaria/encyclopedia, called Map of Bavaria.
