Seakeeping? What's that? Never heard of it. ;D

Not sure what the real freeboard is, but looking at another picture with men on deck, I'd guess it's half of what I used.

On the Gatlings/Hotchkiss/Nordenfelt guns, so far most people have been doing them as multi-gun quick-firing mounts, carrying a few hundred rounds per gun (since if you sim a 10 gun mount as having 2000 rounds per gun, you have it as 20,000 rounds per mount, which is probably excessive).

Got to love the monitor.  :)

Quotesince if you sim a 10 gun mount as having 2000 rounds per gun, you have it as 20,000 rounds per mount, which is probably excessive
You are exagerating, sir. It's only 15,000 rounds per gattling.  :)
Yes, it is a bit much. On the other hand, we like to shoot a lot with them at unarmed and unarmored ships.  ;D
QuoteGot to love the monitor.
Yes, I do. That's why I simmed it. :)

(BTW, reduced the 0.45 rounds on the previous designs)

Who cheer when solider lads march by
Sneak home and pray that you'll never know
The hell where youth and laughter go.
